Campers spend three weeks working with a professional writer, exploring the arts of poetry, fiction, and nonfiction writing in a relaxed, fun, and creative environment. Campers learn the techniques writers use to create compelling work, build confidence, and nurture an appreciation for the written word. All campers are published in a professionally bound anthology, with a book-release party at the annual Texas Teen Book Festival. Open to rising 3rd-12th graders.
