Central Texas U.S. Service Academy Day

Parents and students (9th – 12th grades) are welcome to attend this information event for the U.S. Service Academies:

Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy, Merchant Marine Academy, and Coast Guard Academy

This event is co-sponsored by Senators John Cornyn and Ted Cruz, along with Congressmen John Carter, Bill Flores, Michael McCaul, and Roger Williams

 

 

Council of International Schools (CIS) International College and University Fair in Cooperation with IB Americas

This is a free event designed exclusively for grade 11 and 12 students currently studying in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program, as well as students in grade 10 who aspire to the IB Diploma Program.  Representatives from over 70 CIS colleges and universities are eager to meet with you! Students will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from nearly 200 4-year and 2-year colleges and universities, trade schools and technical programs, in addition to the armed services. Sessions will also be offered regarding financial aid and scholarships.

Registration recommended so students will have a bar code to use with schools of interest instead of filling out information forms at the event.

NACAC Performing & Visual Arts Fair

The National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) is pleased to announce its 2017 Austin Performing & Visual Arts College Fair. This program is an important resource for fine arts students interested in pursuing undergraduate and graduate programs of study in the areas of music, theatre, dance, visual arts, graphic design, film production, and other related disciplines. Students will have the opportunity to speak with representatives from colleges, universities, conservatories, festivals, and other educational institutions with specialized programs in the visual and performing arts. Attendees of these free events will learn about educational opportunities, admission and financial aid, portfolio days, audition and entrance requirements, and much more. Workshops will be offered at selected fairs on general information for parents and students regarding the performing and visual arts. All participants are encouraged to register prior to attending this event. This will make navigating the fair and collecting information from multiple colleges and universities much easier.
