 Secondary School Opportunities  

Algebra 2 / Computer Science Teacher, Bachelor's Degree from accredited college or university and valid teacher certificate, IB experience preferred but not required. Substitute Food Service Employee

Full Day: 8am-3:00pm

Half Day: 10am-1:00pm

Compensation: $11.00-$12.00 per hour




Must hold a Food Handler’s Certificate through Williamson County Health Department.

Must complete a free online Civil Rights Certificate.

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Must be able to work in a hot and fast paced environment.

Substitute Kitchen Employees will:

Help prepare foods according to standardized recipes

Keep working area clean and sanitary

Focus on job assigned and be a team player

Help set up service lines

Serve meals to the standards set by Meridian World School in a friendly and professional manner

Help with clean up and/or dish duties when needed

Daily and Long-Term Substitute salaries have gone up!  We are currently at or above area school district pay schedules.  Please contact our school office for information.

Certified teachers are needed at this time to substitute at Meridian School for both Primary grades (K-5) and Secondary classes (6-12).    Substituting is a way to get to know faculty, staff and administration. It could be the stepping stone to applying for a teaching position at Meridian School.   Interested applicants should email their letter of interest and resume to for grades K-5 and for grades 6-12.

Group Leaders engage with students in grades ranging from Kindergarten through 5th grade.  This job requires you to work with each grade level rather than just one specific grade.  The work hours are Monday 1:30-6:00, Tuesday 2:30-6:00, Wednesday 12:00-6:00, Thursday 2:30-6:00, Friday 2:30-6:00.  Up to 23 hours per week

The ideal candidate will 

- Support the Enrichment Coordinator

- Create and carry out comprehensive curriculum plans involving outdoor and indoor activities 

- Possess collaborative, communicative, and creative problem-solving skills while working in a team setting 

- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, work harmoniously with others while accepting responsibilities 

- Communicate thoughts, issues, ideas, etc. well with students and parents

- Have experience in managing groups of 20+ students 

- Possess a desire to participate as an active listener, contributor, motivator, and leader

The pay range is $11-$14 per hour and is based on education and years of experience managing groups of 25 or more children.
