Sara Harris

Sara Harris joined the Meridian faculty in August 2015 as a kindergarten teacher. Sara graduated from Texas State University with a degree in Elementary Education. She is certified in Early Childhood through fourth grade and in English as a Second Language. After doing her internship work in the Hays/San Marcos area, Sara began her teaching career in early childhood in an area district and remained in that role for ten years. She has experienced different types of curriculum and management procedures and was looking for a change in teaching practice when she heard of Meridian. Sara is excited to continue her journey in early childhood education and has completed Category 1 PYP training. She is enjoying implementing these practices in her kindergarten classroom!
