Tania Shebaro

Tania Shebaro is a lifelong learner, educator, and language-lover. She was born and raised in Mexico City, but has called the US home since 2001. She has also lived in Latvia, France, and Spain. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and French from the University of New Mexico, and a Master's degree in College Student Development from St. Edward’s University. Mrs. Shebaro has been teaching Spanish/French at Meridian since Fall 2020, but she began her language teaching career in an area high school in 2014. Prior to teaching, she worked as a language tutor, a language teaching assistant in France, and a Spanish translator/interpreter. In addition to becoming fluent in English and certified to teach both Spanish and French, Mrs. Shebaro has also studied Italian, Russian, and Arabic. She truly believes that languages open up new worlds and opportunities, and she approaches language teaching from her experience as a language learner. When Mrs. Shebaro is not busy with her two incredibly active trilingual children (class of 2031 and 2036) and Lebanese husband, she is likely baking, crafting, or learning something new.
