Stephen F. Austin University Showcase Saturday

Saturday, November 9th on the SFA campus. 

This is a great time for students and families to visit SFA!  At this event they will have: campus tours, residence hall walkthroughs, academic departments available, financial aid, admissions presentations, and giveaways! There is also a home football fame at the conclusion to get the real Nacogdoches experience.

Austin National College Fair

This is the biggest college fair in the Austin area, and more than 200 college and university representatives from across the country will be in attendance.   Before the event, students are encouraged to register for the college fair on the gotocollegefairs.com website.

The program begins promptly at 7 p.m. with a 30-minute information session, and a college fair begins immediately afterwards, lasting approximately 1.5 hours. This program is offered to the public free of charge. No pre-registration is required.

This select group of PAC-12 institutions is coming together to assist students and families with navigating the college selection process.  In this joint information session you will hear about admissions, scholarship, student life and unique opportunities available to you from each of these universities.  Check-in begins at 6:30 and the program starts promptl at 7:00 pm.  The last 30 minutes of the program will be set up in a college fair format so you can ask additional questions to each university.

 

 

 

Central Texas U.S. Service Academies Forum

This forum is designed to provide valuable information for 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade students who are interested in the US Service Academy nomination process or a career in the military as a commissioned officer.  This event provides an opportunity for students, parents, educators and citizens to hear from and ask questions to academy admissions representatives, congressional staff members, curent academy cadets and ROTC advisors.  The forum is co-hosted by the offices of Senator John Cornyn, Senator Ted Cruz, Congressman Bill Flores, Congressman Michael McCaul, Congressman Roger Williams and Congressman John R. Carter. 

The event is free and reservations are not needed.  Onsite registration begins at 8:15 am.

Franklin University is an American university located in Lugano Switzerland.  Instruction is in English, and graduates earn both a US and Swiss degree, allowing them to pursue careers and graduate degree programs all over the world.  One class each semester includes a two week trip to a different country with your professor and classmates to study that subject in that area of the world.
