Texas IB Schools College Fair
Live fair was cancelled for April 28, 2020, but new Virtual Fair is available through September 1, 2020!
Join the fair at www.texasibcollegefair.com
The annual Texas IB Schools College Fair was to be held April 28. Because connecting our extraordinary IB students with universities recruiting IB students has been an important function of Texas IB Schools (TIBS) since 2013, canceling the fair was difficult. We didn’t want our students to be disappointed. As a result, Texas IB Schools in partnership with the Texas Council for International Studies has created a virtual college fair sponsored by Johns Hopkins University Office of Admissions and The University of Texas at Austin. At the fair, IB students will find messages from universities recorded just for IB students with information about the university and IB specific information. IB students will also be able to access the university website and to join university admissions mailing lists. Students should click on the university logo for the special IB message and on “admissions” under the logo to go to the university website. Students should check back regularly as new universities and presentations will be updated as available. The website will be active until at least September 1, 2020. On behalf of TIBS, TCIS, Johns Hopkins University Office of Admissions, The University of Texas at Austin and all participating universities, we hope IB students enjoy visiting the fair and understand how much they are valued as extraordinary students and people.
