Triple A Registration for the 2020-2021 School Year:
  • Triple A Registration for the 2020-2021 school year is around the corner! Be on the lookout for additional communication with specific dates.

Signing out your Triple A student(s):
  • Please sign your student out on the Triple A sign out sheets located in front of the Triple A receptionist’s desk every day. Wednesday students must be signed out on the last page of the sign out sheet under Early Release Wednesday.

Triple A Discipline Plan review:
  • Triple A will continue to reinforce our discipline plan to manage improper behaviors during after school time. To review a digital copy of the discipline plan, please click here.

Transportation Changes:
  • Please remember to email both Triple A and Transportation at transportation@mwschool.org when your student will be absent from Triple A, starting a new a la carte program, or switching Triple A care days.

Emergency Drills:
  • When an emergency drill takes place during the school day, we repeat that same drill during after-school activities (Triple A, athletics, etc.). This gives students and staff practice with the specific procedures that are followed outside of school hours. For most drills, we will then lock the doors five minutes prior to the start. This is for your benefit. Parents or visitors that are inside the building during a drill will be required to follow the appropriate procedures. This could mean sheltering in place on the floor of a hallway or huddling up with a classroom during a lockdown. Those picking up students from Triple A and other after-school activities will be expected to wait until the "all clear" is given over the intercom. Once students are accounted for and settled back into their activity location, pick-up procedures will continue as usual.

After School Pick-Up Process

    1. Park in a parking spot without a number. Vehicles idling in front of the school are prohibited.
    2. Find your child's white “I’ve Been Identified” card located at the table placed vertically in front of the Triple A Receptionist's desk.
    3. Sign out your student on the sign out sheet directly in front of their grade levels “I’ve Been Identified” card bin. Please remember to print legibly the time and the pick up person’s name.
    4. Show either the Receptionist Support or the Receptionist your white card, ensuring that you have your picture on the back of it and you are listed as a pick up person.
    5. If you do not have your picture on the back of your student(s)'s white "I've Been Identified" card, ask the Receptionist or Receptionist Support to scan your ID to be placed on the card.
      • You will not be able to pick up your student without your picture on the back of their "I've Been Identified" white card.
    6. Look at the "Where Are We" whiteboard to determine your student's location.
    7. ASK where that location is if you are unsure.
    8. If there is an arrow before the location listed or the whiteboard is wiped clean, this means the group is undergoing a transition and you will be asked to either meet them at the location they are headed towards or to wait in the foyer until the transition is complete.
    9. If your student is in an a la carte program or tutoring after school and their program has either just ended or will end shortly, you will be asked to wait in the lobby and check in with the Receptionist or Receptionist Support to find the current location of your student.
    10. Once you get to your student's group, please HAND your white card to your student's Group Leader before they are allowed to leave with you.
    11. After they identify you, you will be handed back your white card.
    12. Retrieve your student's backpack at their backpack hub.
    13. As you exit the building, please replace your white card in the grade appropriate bin located on the table directly to the left of the doors you are required to exit through.
    14. Please remember to practice usual parking lot safety and use crosswalks when exiting the building as there is heavier than usual traffic in the parking lot during after school pick up

    1. You will not be able to pick up your student without your picture on the back of their "I've Been Identified" white card.
  14. Please remember to practice usual parking lot safety and use crosswalks when exiting the building as there is heavier than usual traffic in the parking lot during after school pick up.
