Julianna Messineo

Julianna Messineo joined Meridian School in July 2021 as a 6th grade math teacher. She was born in New Jersey and graduated with her Bachelor’s in Mathematics and her Master’s in Mathematics Education both from the University of Alabama before moving to Austin. Ms. Messineo has previously taught middle and high school math in Texas public schools as well as robotics in a summer camp. Ms. Messineo loves to walk, dance, go indoor bouldering, and read and listen to audiobooks. She is passionate about creating experiences where her students can find new and creative ways to solve problems and appreciate that there is more than one way to be right. She is proud to be a Meridian Lion!
