Anita Pirani

Anita Pirani joined Meridian in 2021. She received her B.S. in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from UC - San Diego which then was followed by an M.Ed in Secondary Education. She earned her certification in Science Composite 8-12 and started teaching Pre-Chemistry, Chemistry, and IPC in Plano, TX. After 5yrs of teaching, she and her husband moved to Austin, TX where she started teaching Pre-AP Biology. After a year, she gained the desire to try something new and started taking courses in computer science. She attended Oracle Academy where she received some certifications in Java Programming. After earning her teaching certification in Computer Science in 2016, she continued to educate herself by taking courses in Java Programming at ACC and completing the AP Computer Science training course at UT. She has since then been teaching various levels of computer science in the language of Java and Swift. She has a natural desire to learn and she hopes to instill that same passion in her students (and her two children!).
