We are excited to share information for the 2019-2020 Meridian Cross Country season, which will begin in August.

About Meridian Cross Country

Meridian Cross Country is open to all Meridian student athletes in 7th-12th grades. There are no tryouts to participate in XC. There will be 4-6 meets during the cross country season, which starts in August and runs through the league's post season. Meets are typically on Saturdays. Meridian Cross Country participates in the Texas Charter School Academic & Athletic League's (TCSAAL's) Regional meet and State meet, when advancement is earned. Cross Country practices three times a week.

Parents are needed to serve at practices and meets in many volunteer roles: providing water coolers with cold water, acting as point persons on the trail, coordinating/providing snacks, coordinating/executing tent set up and break down and general support of our runners. Participation on the cross country team includes an expectation that parents will commit to serving in these roles throughout the season.
