Nicole Fisher joined Meridian in August 2011 as a first grade teacher and a member of the school's first faculty. After two years in first grade, she moved to fourth grade in August of 2013.  In July 2016 she accepted the position of physical education & wellness teacher K-5.    Nicole received her education degrees from Texas State University and Southwest Texas State University.   She previously taught pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, first grade and fourth grade, and came to Meridian from Round Rock ISD where she taught at an authorized IB-PYP campus.  She came to Meridian because of the opportunity to be a part of an IB school from the beginning of implementation; the opportunity to work with a group of people dedicated towards building an IB school; and for the opportunity to grow as an IB learner herself.  Nicole is certified in grades pre-kindergarten through eight and physical education, with endorsements in reading and ESL (English as a second language). She has completed Category 1 and advanced IB-PYP training.
