Laura Sullivan

Laura Sullivan started her teaching career in 2018 as a math teacher and coach. While she enjoys teaching Algebra II the most, she also loves teaching the AVID principles she learned while in RRISD. She earned her Bachelor's degree from Miami University in Ohio and then her Master's degree in Sport and Performance Psychology from the University of Denver. She spent a year coaching volleyball and working for a non-profit in Salt Lake City before finding her way to Austin.
 
Laura likes to ask big questions of her students and engage them in high-quality problem solving. She's a creative thinker and enjoys taking the math outside of the classroom. On weekends, you can find her traveling, crafting, and exploring everything that Austin has to offer.
