Lorrie Bustamante joined Meridian in August of 2013 as a Spanish teacher for primary students.   Lorrie has a bachelors degree in Spanish from the University of North Carolina, along with an associates degree of arts from the University of Hawaii and an additional year of Spanish study abroad in Spain at the Roces Institute.   She has taught Spanish for the past 18 years, both to adults and to public school students in North Carolina, California, and Texas.   She is certified in bilingual education and general education in PK-fourth grade, and in secondary education grades 6-12 . Lorrie has completed Category 1 and advanced IB-PYP training.
