Kathy Gregg

Mrs. Gregg came to Meridian as a consultant to help with Meridian's transition to high school in the 2012-2013 school year, and since has filled the role of Secondary Counselor. She continues to serve Meridian part-time as the College Counselor, and is on campus every Tuesday and Wednesday to assist students with post-secondary planning.

 

Mrs. Gregg served as a counselor at Westwood High School in RRISD for 30 years. As the Lead Counselor during her last 11 years at Westwood, she provided college counseling services in addition to supervising a team of eight counselors and coordinating a comprehensive guidance program for a campus of 2,500 students. She has served on advisory boards at Texas Tech University and Concordia Texas​, and ​has participated in numerous invitational counselor programs at colleges across the country. She is a member of TACAC, NACAC and TCA, and is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor. Mrs. Gregg holds a B.S. from Texas Tech University and an M.Ed. from The University of Texas.
