2021 Summer Camp

Given the circumstances we all have faced this past year, we recognize a need to provide additional support to students. Read on for details about our 2021 Summer Camp. Because space is limited, admission is on an invitation only basis. Admission is free! Lunch is provided.

Summer camp program details

When: June 7–25, 2021
Time: 8 am – 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday
Location: Meridian Primary Building
Grades: K-8
Principal: Ashley Larkey
Meals: Free breakfast and lunch through the Cafeteria


Where do we drop off/pick up? You will drop off in front of the primary building at the yellow line at 8 am. For dismissal, pick up on the blue line for grades K-3 and on the yellow line for grades 4-8 at 2:30 pm. 
What do we bring? Bring a labeled water bottle, snacks, and a lunch if you do not wish to order from the cafeteria. 
What do we wear? You can wear the Meridian uniform or spirit wear every day. Jeans/shorts are fine. Apply sunscreen in the morning!
What if my child is sick or absent? There's no need to provide a doctor's note, but if it's an extended absence please email
Breakfast: 8 - 8:30 am in the Primary cafeteria
Lunch K-3: 11:45 - 12:15 pm in the Mays cafeteria
Lunch 4-8: 12:15 - 12:45 pm in the Mays cafeteria
Recess: K-3 12:15 - 12:45/ 4-8 12:45 - 1:15 (rotate areas daily)

Discipline: As this is summer camp, and it is not required, should a student violate the student code of conduct two or more times, their invitation to summer camp will be revoked, and they will not be allowed to complete the program.

Outside Course Credit Information
If a course for high school credit is failed (Algebra 1, French 1A or 1B, Spanish 1A or 1B), then that high school credit course must be made up over the summer to advance to the next level in that subject next year.
