3, 2, 1, LEGO!!!

Do you love LEGO, robots, and kids in silly animal hats? If so, we want YOU to volunteer at our FIRST
LEGO League (FLL) competition at Meridian!

FLL is a global program that encourages kids age 9-14 to get involved and have fun with science, technology, engineering, and math through LEGO robotics and themed Challenges. Kids work hard for at least five months designing, building, and programming LEGO Mindstorms robots to complete missions on a specialized LEGO playing field in fast-paced Robot Game matches. They also complete a research project to come up with innovative solutions to real-world problems. This year's Project challenged teams to come up with ways to improve human-animal interactions.

Volunteers are needed at competitions to fill many fun roles, including referring (scoring the Robot Game matches), judging (in three categories: Project, Robot Design, and Core Values), and having fun with the kids as we help them present all their hard work! We couldn't have these competitions without the help of volunteers to give FLL teams an awesome experience that truly changes lives! We really need Robot Design judges!
