Kathryn Patschke

Kathryn Patschke joined Meridian as the Triple A Manager in May of 2018. She brings her expertise in child development and staff management. She came to us with a background as the Program Director of a physical development center with nearly 8 years of experience. Mrs. Patschke holds a Bachelors of Applied Learning in Youth and Community Studies from the University of Texas at Austin and a Masters in Business Administration from Western Governors University. In her free time, Mrs. Patschke enjoys DIY projects, refinishing furniture, and spending time with her husband, children, and fur-babies! She was drawn to Meridian because of the school mission. She believes in the importance of helping students develop social and intellectual skills that will not only help them in their transition into adulthood and the workforce, but more importantly help them develop relationships to enjoy a fulfilling life.

 

 

Jenny Polcyn

Ms. Polcyn (She/Her)

Triple A Program Coordinator

 

Jenny Polcyn joined us as the Triple A Program Coordinator in April of 2022. She moved to Austin from Chicago in 2020. Jenny spent multiple years teaching abroad, where she developed a passion for working with students and helping them achieve their goals. She has a background of program coordinating in both public and private schools. Jenny studied at Southern New Hampshire University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design. In her free time, she likes to go rock climbing, run, and travel. 
 
 

De La Cruz

Ms. Torrie (She/Her)

Triple A Administrative Assistant

 

Torrie De La Cruz joined the Triple A team in August of 2021. She was born and raised in Texas. After high school, Torrie worked as a nanny, babysitter and pet sitter. She has experience working with children of all abilities and ages. Torrie’s goal is to provide a safe, healthy and happy learning environment for every child. When Torrie is not working, she is usually spending time with her fiancé, her family, and her dogs. She has special interests in music, art, and binge watching the latest Netflix hits.

 

 

Solorio

Mrs. Solorio (She/Her)

Group A Leader (Kinder)

 

Stephanie Solorio first joined the Triple A team in 2021 as a staff support staff, then transitioned into a group leader role. Stephanie was born and raised in Morgan Hill, California, and has studied Administrative Justice. She also holds a certificate in Communications from Gavilan Community College. She loves working in the spirited culture and diversity here at Meridian, and thrives on making connections with staff, students, families and friends. In her free time, Mrs. Solorio, her wife, and kids enjoy shopping, exploring new restaurants, refurbishing furniture, reading, and vacationing.
 
 

Erika

Ms. Aviña (She/Her)

Group B Leader (Kinder)

 
Erika Aviña was born and raised in Round Rock, TX. She joined the Triple A team in August of 2021. Erika loves being a part of the students' learning process and expanding their minds. Ms. Aviña enjoys trips to Mexico twice a year to visit family. In her free time, Erika can be found spending time with her loved ones. She is looking forward to a wonderful school year!
 
 
Marr

Ms. Marr (She/Her)

Group D/E Leader (1st Grade)

 

Brianna Marr joined the Triple A team in October of 2022. She comes from a large line of family, and she has 5 siblings herself. She strives to show and teach that philosophy to others. She loves doing many things such as reading, ice and roller skating, traveling, driving/road trips, talking, meeting new people, playing sports, learning new things, and so so much more! She would like to pursue a doctorate degree in occupational therapy, and focus on working with young children specifically. She is always ready for an adventure, and cannot wait to start this school year off!
 

Robert

Mr. Robert (He/Him)

Group F Leader (2nd Grade)

 

Robert Trevino was born in Puerto Rico, raised in Austin, and now resides in Round Rock, TX. He joined the Triple A team in December of 2021 as Support Staff, and is currently pursuing a teacher’s certification. Robert is a formally trained multi-instrumentalist, audio engineer and professional musician. He also holds an associates degree in Music Business and Technology, and has a background in retail management. In his spare time, he enjoys drawing, cooking, gardening, woodworking and spending quality time with his wife, son, daughter and grandson.
 
 
Ariee

Teacher Silverstein

Group G Leader (2nd Grade)

 

Ariee Silverstein joined Triple A in July of 2023. Ariee has moved all over the country. Ariee was born and raised in New Jersey and eventually ventured off to California and Texas, being exposed and educated on all walks of life. Ariee found most success in History and English classes throughout school. Ariee is a creative and expressive individual who encourages education towards inner self-reflection through gardening, artistic activities, writing, discussion, and supports children’s confidence and safety. Ariee mostly enjoys attending music shows, art trades, and community support. 
 

Yvonne Camarillo

Mrs. Camarillo (She/Her)

Group H Leader (3rd Grade)

 
Yvonne Camarillo joined Meridian in August of 2017. She was born and raised in Corpus Christi, TX. She attended Austin Community College and South University when she and her family moved to the area. She's certified in Management/Leadership. Throughout her career, she's had the opportunity to co-own a restaurant and manage and market several other businesses before transitioning to the classroom. She has worked in special education inclusion, earning certificates in Capturing Kids Heart and Making the PYP Happen in the Classroom. Mrs. Camarillo has over 20 years of management experience, and 10 years of child care experience in grades K-5. In her present days, she's invested in property managing, focusing on residential living. Mrs Camarillo has said, "Working for the school system with all of her amazing students she's met along the way has truly changed her life for the best, giving her such peace." On her off days, she loves spending time with family and friends, especially her grandson, vacationing, writing, and shopping. 
 
 
Erin

Ms. Erin (She/Her)

Group I Leader (3rd Grade)

 

Erin Yielding joined the Triple A team in August of 2023. She was born and raised in Tyler, Texas. After high school, Erin worked as a special needs counselor for adults, a daycare teacher, and once did a seasonal stint at Spirit of Halloween . She has experience working with children of all abilities and ages. When Erin is not working, she is usually spending time exploring local caves, or playing with her elderly cat.
 
 
Jessica

Ms. De La Torre (She/Her)

Group K Leader (4th Grade)

 

Jessica De La Torre started working for Triple A in 2021. Ever since she graduated high school, she’s been growing and learning endlessly. This includes improving her English, since Spanish is her first language. She’s always open to feedback for improvement. She is a people person who loves to communicate with others, establish relationships and is very passionate doing what she does. Ms. De La Torre became a mommy in April of 2023. She has a love for children and their development that will last forever. 
 
Kennedy

Mr. Kennedy (He/Him)

Group L Leader (4th/5th Grade)


Mr. Kennedy joined the Meridian Triple A team in August of 2021 as a 2nd/3rd grade group leader. He has returned as a 4th/5th grade group leader. Outside of work, he enjoys things like playing and watching soccer, hiking and hanging out with friends.

 

Brianna

Ms. Stimmel (She/Her)

Group M Leader (4th/5th Grade)

 

Brianna is from Round Rock, TX. She has been babysitting since 2017 and she finds joy engaging in fun activities with the kids. She enjoys going out in nature and taking pictures on her camera, as well as writing poetry and a variety of literature in her free time. She loves to read, watch criminal justice shows, and spend time with her friends and family.

Edmondson

Ms. Edmondson (She/Her)

Wednesday K-1st Grade Leader / Support Staff

 

Christian Edmondson joined the Triple A team as support staff in October of 2022. She was born in Austin, Texas, and enjoys the places that Texas has to offer, such as the parks and shopping malls. She also has an appreciation for alone time, and likes to make the most of that time by reading, listening to music, and checking up on her friends. As the youngest sibling, she's been shown a great example of how to treat younger children by her two brothers. 

 

Kayla
Ms. Cerrillo (She/Her)

Kayla Cerrillo joined the triple A team in August of 2023. Kayla was born in Wichita Falls, Texas, and moved to Round Rock, Texas in 1998. Kayla is a mom of three boys, and a bonus daughter. Her two oldest boys attend Meridian, and are both in middle school this year. Her youngest is a two year old with his own personality. Her bonus daughter graduated and also works at Meridian. In her spare time, she crochets for her small business, and spends time with her husband, kids, and her fur babies.
 
 
Callie

Ms. Morris (She/Her)

Wednesday 4th-5th Leader / Support Staff

 

Callie Morris joined the program in November of 2022. She was born in Texas, and she's currently a senior at Meridian School. Callie has a love for volleyball and has been playing for 9 years now. She also loves to read and draw. She has always enjoyed looking after kids, and has had experience helping in one of the Triple A A la Carte programs. She was previously an assistant teacher for the orchestra program.
 
 
Matthew

Talla Mathew joined the Triple A team in November of 2022 as support staff. She was born and raised in Austin, TX. Talla is a current junior at Meridian and loves the values that Meridian stands for. She has a passion for caring for kids, and she has previous child care experience. She is excited to learn with the students each day. Her favorite color is pink and she loves Hello Kitty. 
 
 

Thompson

Ms. Thompson (She/Her)

Support Staff

 
Alexandria Thompson joined Meridian as K-3 support in August of 2019, then quickly transitioned to a group leader role. Alexandria majors in Early Childhood Education at Austin Community College, and plans to finish her degree at Texas Tech. In her free time, Ms. Thompson enjoys art related activities, singing, and spending time with her family and friends.
 
 
Nell

Mrs. Nell (She/Her)

Support Staff

 

Nell Osmar joined the Triple A team in February of 2024. She has worked in child education for more than 10 years in public and Montessori schools. She enjoys watching that light bulb moment go on in children as they obtain that sense of accomplishment in their work. She has lived in Georgetown for over 20 years and likes to stay busy and get things done. In her down time she enjoys walks, yoga, eating out, her bible study groups, watching her daughter perform on stage, and hanging out with her husband of 25 years.

Zhy joined the Triple A team in August of 2023. She was born and raised in Killeen, Texas. She comes from a large mixed race family. She loves to cook and read books in her spare time.

Support Staff

 

Regina McCoy joined us as Triple A Support Staff in December, 2023. She moved to Austin, TX in September 2021, and then to Round Rock in July 2022. Regina has a Master's in Early Childhood Education and is currently working on a Master's in Social Work at Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, TX. Regina earned her Bachelor's of Science in Community Health with a concentration in Health Behavior. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her husband, daughter, and bestie (her eldest sister & husband). She loves to hike, travel, read, and binge the latest shows. She is excited for this new adventure at Meridan. 

Alayna Beaver

Mrs. Beaver (She/Her)

Triple A Substitute

 

Alayna Beaver joined Meridian in August of 2021. She moved to Texas from Bishop, California. She served active duty in the US Army for 5 years, and also had experience as a Tribal Police officer before deciding to transition into Early Childhood Education. She was a licensed childcare provider for a few years, has taught preschool, and assisted with after school aged children as well. She attended Cerro Coso Community College, declaring social science as her major. She also attended Ashworth College, graduating with certificates for Undergraduate Early Childhood Education and Child Development Associate. In addition she also graduated from the New York Institute of Photography, with a certificate in professional photography. When Mrs. Beaver isn't working, she enjoys spending time with her 2 children and husband, early morning runs, watching her son play ice and roller hockey, taking her horse, Denny, on trail rides, and participating in 4H projects with both of her children.
