Brittany Amorestrella

Brittany Amorestrella recently joined Meridian World School in August 2023. Ms. Amorestrella is called Ms. A. by the students. Ms. Amorestrella will be teaching Functional Living Skills (FLC) this year for 8th through 12th grades. Ms. A also has students who attend MWS in the 4th and 9th grades! 

Ms. A started working in education in 2010 as a special education paraeducator while working on her Bachelor’s degree online in Psychology. After finishing her degree online, Ms. A moved to Denver Colorado, where she was offered the opportunity to begin an alternative teaching program at Metropolitan State University in Denver Colorado in 2020. She gained a Master’s degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Autism and Significant Needs and graduated May 2022. Ms. Amorestrella has taught all grade levels and has worked with a diverse student population. She is passionate about helping students reach their full potential!
