Melissa Harvey

Melissa Harvey joined Meridian World School in September 2023 as the Middle School Campus Coordinator and became Head Coach for Meridian's Fierce Dance Team in October of 2023. Originally from Pasadena, Texas, Melissa moved to the Austin area in 2002 after graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Sam Houston State University. She taught dance at a dance studio for eight years and was Owner and Director for the dance studio for 2 years. Melissa took a break from dance to focus on her family and then moved into the world of dermatology as Products and Promotions Manager for over 6 years. With her son here at Meridian, she is super excited for the opportunity to work here.

 

Melissa loves to read and find the quiet moments during her downtime. She loves to be outdoors working on the yard or taking her crazy dogs for a walk. Mostly, she enjoys navigating the world and life with her daughter and son.
