Parent Meeting:
Focus on Safety
Just as Meridian School provides a well-rounded and balanced education through the International Baccalaureate programs, so too do we approach the safety and security of our students and our staff. We believe in a well-rounded, holistic program where school culture plays an important part in making sure all members of our school community feel safe and protected. To achieve this, the administration, teachers, staff, students, and parents will work together.
We invite yo u to our end-of-year Parent Meeting on April 25 at 6:30pm to hear more about this approach, on and off campus, and how you can be a part of it. Meridian's counselors will introduce a new "tool" called A Teacher's Guide to Critical Conversations and Trauma Response, the Round Rock police department will present a program titled Situational Awareness, and the goals of the newly formed Safety Task Force consisting of administration, teachers, and parents will be introduced. The Volunteers in Partnership will also have updates to share.Childcare is available for $5 per child, which goes toward paying our teachers and staff who work these extra hours.
