What is it? Students walk in this beloved annual parade under a country of their heritage/choice. Those not in the parade itself get to line the route and cheer on their peers. The parade is led by a senior dressed as the Statue of Liberty. All students are invited to wear cultural dress, country-specific sports jerseys, or country-related spirit wear. 

Because of limited space, parents and guardians are not able to attend the parade.  

This year, students, faculty, and staff will also pose for Meridian's 15 Year Photo in front of the Welcome Wall following the parade.

What actions should you take now?

  1. By February 11: If your child wants to walk in the parade, please check to see if your flag is available. If not, please email Lynda Chapel to ensure a flag can be ordered in time.
  2. By February 25: Sign up if your child wishes to walk in the parade

This year, students, faculty, and staff will also pose for Meridian's 15 Year Photo in front of the Welcome Wall following the parade.
