PHASE II of construction will begin the evening of Thursday 10/26, which will affect the commute of those traveling from the north who typically exit FM 3406, as well as those who live in the neighborhoods along FM 3406 west of I-35.
The eastbound lanes of the FM 3406 bridge over I-35 will be completely closed during arrival time on Friday 10/27 (westbound lanes will not be affected). This closure is expected to last ten months, though it could be completed in as few as eight months.
This Map of Detour Options shows alternative routes that may be taken starting 10/27. We strongly suggest that you allow extra time for your morning commute.
