Amanda Ortiz

Amanda Ortiz joined Meridian School in 2019 and is proud to teach Kindergarten. She earned her degree in Education from Texas A&M University–Central Texas and has been teaching in IB World Schools since 2014.
 
Mrs. Ortiz believes that Kindergarten is about much more than learning letters and numbers—it's about building confidence, fostering curiosity, and creating a love of learning. She is passionate about building meaningful relationships with her students and their families while creating a classroom community where every child feels safe, valued, and excited to come to school each day.
 
When she's not in the classroom, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family, trying new restaurants, listening to true crime and sports podcasts, and watching football.
