Brooke Knight

Brooke Knight joined Meridian in July 2021 and currently serves as Principal. A Texas native, she traded West Texas for Central Texas and has proudly dedicated her career to serving students, families, and educators. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Abilene Christian University in 2006 and her Master’s degree in Educational Administration, along with her principal certification, from Lamar University in 2017.

 

Prior to administration, Mrs. Knight served as a Pre-AP, STEM, and MYP Biology teacher, cheerleading coach, and Science Department Teacher Leader. In 2018, she was honored as Killeen High School’s Teacher of the Year. Before joining Meridian, she served as a Special Programs Facilitator and Campus Instructional Specialist in Killeen ISD.

 

Mrs. Knight joined Meridian as Assistant Principal and served in that role for four years before becoming Principal. Throughout her time at Meridian, she has remained committed to fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and student-centered learning. As a strong advocate for the International Baccalaureate framework, she is passionate about developing internationally minded students who are inquisitive, reflective, and prepared to make a positive impact in their communities and beyond. She is honored to lead the Meridian community and continue building on the school’s strong tradition of IB excellence.

 

Mrs. Knight and her husband, Jason, live in Georgetown with their son, Emerson. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading, exercising, and spending quality time with her family and friends. Mrs. Knight is honored to serve as the principal of the best school in Central Texas. Go Lions!
