Danielle Meshack-Guevara

Mrs. Meshack-Guevara (known to most as Mrs. Meshack) joined Meridian during the 2022-2023 school year. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, she began her career as a middle school English Teacher and relocated to Meridian, excited for the challenges a new city and a new school would entail. She found her niche within 8th grade and loves to spread the joy of reading and writing to her students.

 

Mrs. Meshack-Guevara has a background in the arts, having graduated with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in printmaking from Lamar University and a Master’s of Fine Arts from Houston Baptist University. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family – husband Josh, daughter Ava, and their dog, Cleo – reading, drawing, and cooking.

 

Her teaching philosophy is focused on progress versus perfection. “Practice makes progress!”
