Nolberto Reyna

Nolberto Reyna is honored to be a part of the Meridian School family as a counselor. He is currently in his 18th year of education, where he has served in various roles. His  journey as an educator started as a teacher at Clark High School in Plano ISD.  His path then led him to Wilson Middle School, where he served as a school counselor for 3.5 years. He then relocated to the Austin area and served as an Assistant Principal for Pflugerville ISD for eight years at the middle and high school levels. His recent experience was with Orenda Charter School, where he was the Director of Academic Programs, and recently served as the Dean of Admissions and College Readiness.
 
Nolberto graduated from Tarleton State University with a Bachelors of Business Administration in International Business. He later earned a Master’s of Education in Secondary Education and a Master’s of Science in Educational Administration from Texas A&M - Commerce. He also hold a Master’s of Arts in School Counseling from Amberton University.
 
He is excited to foster new relationships with students and parents to help students meet their full potential and prepare them for the next chapter of their lives after high school. Regardless of what route students take, his goal is to instill in all students the resiliency and grit to tackle any obstacles that they may face.
