Kristin Gebhart

Nurse Kristin grew up in Austin, Texas and brings a wealth of clinical expertise and a passion for holistic wellness to the Meridian World School community.

 

After graduating with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, she spent ten years working in Emergency Medicine and trauma care, serving diverse patient populations from infancy to centenarians. Looking to blend traditional medicine with a more integrative approach to caring for the body, she spent the next chapter of her career practicing integrative field medicine while raising her four children.

 

Having volunteered in Meridian classrooms and school wide events since September 2019, joining the nursing staff in August 2026 felt like a natural home-coming. She is highly drawn to Meridian’s international flair, reflecting her own love for world cultures and global travel.

 

To further her nursing practice, she is currently completing a nurse life coaching certificate through the Nurse Life Coach Academy, aiming to empower others to achieve their goals and live vibrantly. Her favorite forms of self care include working out, being outdoors, sound bowl meditation, spending time with family and friends, watching AGT, and never missing her kids’ sporting events. Nurse Kristin resides in Hutto with her husband and their 4 children.
