Beth Mitchell

Beth Mitchell joined Meridian in 2026 as a School Psychologist. Dr. Mitchell holds a Bachelor’s degree from Lipscomb University, Master’s and Specialist degrees from Middle Tennessee State University, and a Doctorate degree from Texas Woman’s University. Since beginning her career in Texas in 2002, she has served students and families in the  Dallas and College Station areas.
 
Originally from Tennessee, Dr. Mitchell relocated to Texas in 2002 and frequently exclaims that she got here as fast as she could! She is passionate about helping children discover their strengths, understand their challenges, and develop the skills they need to thrive. Dr. Mitchell enjoys partnering with families, educators, and students to support academic, behavioral, social, and emotional growth, and she believes that every child can succeed when given the right support.
 
Outside of school, Beth enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and exploring Austin’s parks, restaurants, and local attractions. She is excited to be part of the Meridian community and looks forward to getting to know the students and families she serves.
