Carolyn Slanetz

Carolyn Slanetz has over 25 years of teaching science to high school students. Originally from New York, she moved to Texas in 2025. Ms. Slanetz has a Master's degree from Harvard University and a Bachelor's degree from Smith College. She is trained in IB Biology, AP Biology, and IB Environmental Systems and Societies.
 
She has taught in the IB Diploma program for over 10 years and has served as an extended essay advisor for mulitple students. While not teaching, Ms. Slanetz is exploring the 50 states in the United States in her campervan with her dog and at least one of her four children.
