Jeannette Thiem

Jeannette Thiem joined Meridian in August 2011 as part of the school's inaugural year, serving as a Special Education Instructional Assistant for grades 6–8. In addition to supporting students, she coordinated ARD and 504 meetings as the campus scheduler.

Today, Jeannette serves as District K-12th Behavior Instructional Support, where she works with students and staff to promote positive behavioral outcomes across all grade levels. She completed the Region 13 Behavior Endorsement Program and earned her Behavior Coach Certification. She has also completed 40 hours of Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training.

Jeannette has lived in Texas for many years and attended Austin Community College (ACC) and McClain Community College, where she earned an Associate degree in Early Childhood with a specialization in Special Needs.

Before joining Meridian, Jeannette worked in Round Rock ISD as an Instructional Assistant in an intervention program. She was drawn to Meridian by the opportunity to help build a new International Baccalaureate (IB) school from its very beginning and continues to be dedicated to supporting the success and well-being of every student.
