Wendy Riley

Wendy joined the Meridian family in 2013, initially teaching Pre-Algebra and Life Science. She went on to teach MYP Mathematics for three years before transitioning to the IB Diploma Programme as a DP Mathematics teacher and Secondary Academic Coordinator. Over the years, Wendy has also served as the high school mathematics group lead as well as DP team lead. 
 
Wendy's current role is that of Associate Principal for Grades 11 and 12 and serves as Meridian’s administrative lead for Group 5 (Mathematics) in the IB Continuum Programme.
 
Wendy holds a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Tarleton State University. Her Texas certifications include 4–8 Generalist, 4–8 Mathematics, 7–12 Mathematics, ESL Supplemental, and EC–12 Principal.
