Sara Harris

Sara Harris joined the Meridian faculty in August 2015 as a kindergarten teacher and is proud to serve the Meridian community. She graduated from Texas State University with a degree in Elementary Education and is certified in Early Childhood through fourth grade as well as English as a Second Language (ESL).
 
Before joining Meridian, Sara taught early childhood for 10 years in a local school district after completing her student teaching in the Hays/San Marcos area. With more than 20 years of teaching experience, she is passionate about creating a nurturing, engaging classroom where young learners build confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.
 
Throughout her time at Meridian, Sara has continued to deepen her knowledge of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP) through ongoing professional learning. She is committed to helping each child grow academically, socially, and emotionally while fostering meaningful partnerships with families.
