April Harris
April Harris teaches in teh FLC and 18+ Classroom. She joined Meridian in August of 2018 as the Secondary Resource Language Arts teacher and has since held several positions in the special education department. She has a Bachelor's degree in Education from Oklahoma Christian University and is certified in Early Childhood through 8th grade, ELAR 7-12, K-12 special education, and ESL.
April has been in education for more than 20 years and has experience teaching across all grades in both the General Education and Special Education setting. Ms. Harris has taught English online to students of all ages, and she taught for four years in a therapeutic classroom at a residential treatment center before joining the Meridian team.
