Meridian MUN took 57 delegates to the University of Texas to participate in the CTMUN Conference November 10 through 12. Each student worked very hard to prepare for this conference, and everyone at Meridian (especially the advisors) are very proud of the participants! Meridian walked away with four awards! Meridian's Model United Nations embarked on an enriching journey to San Antonio for the MUNSA/JMUNSA conference. We are extremely impressed by the dedication and diligence exhibited by every student throughout their preparations. It brings us immense joy to announce that three of our outstanding high school delegates secured highly sought after awards at the event. Leon T. received Best Delegate, Sarah O. received Honorable Mention, and Vivaan P.  received Distinguished Delegate. Congratulations to these talented individuals for their commendable achievements!

Southwestern University, Georgetown
 
On February 10 and 11, Meridian MUN attended a conference at Southwestern University. We had over 30 high schoolers and 100 middle schoolers participate. Each student worked extra hard to prepare for this conference and represent Meridian well. We had many high schoolers and middle school students walk away with awards. Additionally, our middle school group won Best Large Delegation Overall.

We're excited to share some great news from the Washington Area Model United Nations Conference (WAMUNC)! Twelve of our high school students attended the conference, and they did an awesome job! WAMUNC is super competitive, but our students rocked it! Special shoutout to Cylee D. for winning an award – way to go, Cylee!
