Announcing Outstanding Rating of 97 in 2024-2025 School Accountability Ratings

The Distinctions in Achievement in these ratings compare Meridian to similar schools (taking into account campus size, student populations, socio-economic levels, and more). Meridian’s Founder & Superintendent, Karalei Nunn, is especially proud of the seventh distinction, naming the school in the top 25% of similar schools in closing achievement gaps.

While Meridian has enjoyed an “A” rating every year since opening in 2011, administration continues to look for areas of improvement to meet students where they are and help them grow.

“Over the past few years, our campus leaders have drilled into the data with their teachers to target specific gaps in knowledge,” she said. “We are doing our best to reach every child, and this news is confirmation that these efforts are paying off.”

“I’m excited to see these results,” Ms. Nunn said. “Our exceptional campus leaders have worked with their teachers to hone their practices to best support each student. These seven distinctions are great indicators that we are on the right track!”

Meridian received all seven exceptional achievement designations available to schools. These include:

  • Academic Achievement in Reading/Language Arts
  • Academic Achievement in Mathematics
  • Academic Achievement in Science
  • Academic Achievement in Social Studies
  • Top 25 Percent: Comparative Academic Growth
  • Top 25 Percent: Comparative Closing the Gaps
  • Postsecondary Readiness
