Gunjan Saxena

Gunjan is a passionate mathematics educator committed to creating an inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported. She believes that with the right tools and encouragement, every student can excel in mathematics.

 

With a Master of Business Administration and a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from India, she began her teaching journey in India and continued her passion in teaching after moving to the United States. Since 2019, she has taught high school mathematics at a charter school in Austin, Texas, while also offering personalized math tutoring.

 

She specializes in making complex mathematical concepts accessible and engaging. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes fostering a growth mindset, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, empowering students to approach challenges with confidence. She is experienced in in-person, hybrid, and online teaching formats, adapting her methods to meet diverse student needs.

 

Outside of work, Gunjan cherishes time with her family, including her two daughters—one in 8th grade and the other soon to turn three. She enjoys traveling, exploring new cultures, listening to music, and engaging in crafts.
