This is Lacy Vain's sixth year at Meridian. She teaches 8th Grade Visual Arts. Previously, she has taught French in the Primary School and French 1A in the Middle School. She has completed IB-MYP Category 2 training in both Language Acquisition and Visual Arts. She is a member of Meridian's Circle of Founding Families (COFF). She joined Meridian's staff in 2013 as the Development Specialist, working with Founder, Karalei Nunn. She has a bachelors degree with honors in Fine Arts from the University of Arizona. She has studied, lived, worked and traveled extensively in France over the past 20 years. Before working at Meridian, Lacy and her family lived in a small village in the South of France called Montbrun-les-Bains, north of Marseille where she taught English. Before that, she worked as an arts administrator for The Sarofim School of Fine Arts at Southwestern University for 12 years. She lives in Georgetown with her husband and two children. Both of her children attend Meridian.
