This 2017-2018 school year is Stela Holcombe’s fourth year on staff at Meridian School. She serves as the High School Assistant Principal and Diploma Program Coordinator. She is fluent in Spanish and brings 19 years of public school work experience as a teacher, parent support specialist, and high school administrator. Mrs. Holcombe strives to:
- provide dedicated, caring support for Meridian students and teachers
- provide excellent customer service to the Meridian parent community
- implement and refine school policies and procedures that support student learning
Mrs. Holcombe is a graduate of Rice University (B.A. in Social Science) and Harvard University (Master’s Degree in Education Administration, Planning, and Social Policy). She has attended both Middle Years Program and Diploma Program training.
Mrs. Holcombe’s children, Alyssa (8th grade) and Leeson (6th grade), have been at Meridian since the school’s inaugural year 2011-2012. Her husband of 17 years, Lee, is a high school math/science teacher in Georgetown. Mrs. Holcombe loves working at Meridian and is looking forward to another great school year!
