STAAR and End-of-Course (EOC) results and retakes
Meridian will receive preliminary STAAR End-of-Course (EOC) results in late May. If your student did not pass one or more EOC exams, you will be contacted to schedule summer retakes. Families may retrieve student 2025 STAAR scores in mid-June. Read on for dates, how to access scores, and details.
School supplies
All students Grades K-8: Order your supply kits by July 1. After July 1, the price goes up to cover administrative costs.
Grades 9-12: Purchase supplies on your own. Grades 9-10 and Grades 11-12. Grades 11-12 are advised not to buy supplies for elective courses until you receive your schedule at Back to School Night Aug. 4.
Additional supply notes:
- Grade 6 band and orchestra will provide additional supply lists after the first day of school
- Grade 7 pencil bag (optional); French 1 students (not French 1B) will need a 1” 3-ring binder and folder with pockets
- Grade 8 French students will need a ½” - 1” 3-ring binder
- Grades 6-8 should bring wired headphones/earbuds (no bluetooth) daily
- Grades 8-12 should have a TI 84 CE Graphing Calculator (highly recommended)
- Grades 8-12 will need to bring their own laptop/device to school each day. Read more about Technology Requirements for 8-12.
Uniform updates and guidelines for 2025-2026
Buying uniforms for next year? Check out the uniform guide! Local vendor RockSports supplies spirit wear all year long. Secondary students (6-12): don’t forget to get a polo embroidered for Mondays.
Please review these important uniform guidelines before purchasing uniforms, including guidance on shorts and skirts and an update on accessories and hats.
Health reminders
If your student has any new immunizations or you are new to Meridian and you have not submitted immunization records during registration, please email [email protected]. The State of Texas requires incoming 7th grade students to have their Tdap and Meningococcal vaccinations before the first day of school.
If your student will need any medications on campus next school year, please have their provider fill out & sign the medication consent form dated July 1 or later.
Sports physicals: Update your Athletics Physical forms this summer if you plan to play sports in 25-26.
Register for 2025-2026 Fast Lane, After School and Extracurricular Activities
Triple A registration closes July 24 (K-5). See After School and extracurricular options for all grade levels.
Apply for Primary (K-5) Fast Lane(primary dismissal only) by August 5. Vehicles picking up four or more students in the afternoons may apply for Fast Lane, which lines up on Meridian Lane off of the service road. If awarded a spot, you will receive a notification from [email protected].
Save the Date: Back to School Nights
Join us on campus to meet your student's teachers, pick up car tags, shop at the uniform exchange, discover how you can support the school, and purchase spirit wear from RockSports!

Summer meals program, Free and Reduced Meals Application
The State of Texas Department of Agriculture offers summer meal sites around the state for students and eligible people with disabilities.
Additionally, applications for the Free and Reduced Meal program open up July 15.
SAT Opportunity at Meridian
Meridian World School is now approved to be a weekend test center for the SAT. Interested students may register and pay for the SAT at the College Board website.
We are offering the SAT on the Meridian campus on the following dates: Saturday, November 8, 2025 and Saturday, May 2, 2026. Seating is limited to 50 students and is open to the public on a first come first serve basis. We hope that Meridian students take advantage of this opportunity to test in a familiar environment. Please register early.
NOTE: If your student is eligible for accommodations for the SAT, these are the weekends that we will be best staffed to provide this support. If you have any questions please reach out to Paige Bender.
