Fees - Spring 2026

Fees

All sports experiences have two fees:  Registration Fee + Participation Fee

  1. $52.30  Registration Fee ($50 registration + 4.6% MySchoolBucks fees). The registration fee is only refundable if the student athlete tries out for Tennis  and is not offered a spot on a team. Registration fees must be paid through MySchoolBucks. 
  2. Participation Fee:
  • Middle School = $550
  • Varsity = $600
  • *Add 4.6% MySchoolBucks user fees if paying participation fees via MySchoolBucks, or participation fees can be paid by check.  Instructions for paying by check will be sent with the Welcome email.
  • Participation fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Participation fees are due in full, even if utilizing a payment plan and the student loses eligibility, withdraws from Meridian, or decides not to participate before the payment plan balance is due.
  • Financial assistance is available to those who need it. Please see Financial Assistance.
    • December 12. 2025 - 1st payment of 50% due
    • February 1, 2025 = 2nd payment of 50% due
    • Families who qualify for Free and Reduced Lunch can request reduced participation fees on their registration form when registering or by emailing Financial Aid.
    • A payment plan is available to anyone who needs it. If you would like a payment plan, please request it on your registration form.
 
Participation fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable. The entire participation fee is due in full even if a student becomes injured or ill, leaves or is removed from the team, or withdraws from the school.
 
Add 4.6% MySchoolBucks user fee if paying participation fees via MySchoolBucks. Or participation fees can be paid by check. (The $52.30 registration fee cannot be paid by check.) Please make checks for participation fees payable to "Meridian School" and include the student's full name and "Tennis" on the memo line. Please seal the check in an envelope and write "Coach Ashlie '' on the outside. Then please deposit the check in the blue mailbox outside the Athletics Office.  Do not drop off Athletics checks to a school office. 

 

Tennis players will need to provide their own:

  • Tennis racket
  • Tennis shoes
  • Black tennis bottoms for matches
  • Water bottle
  • Transportation to and from practices and matches. TeamApp can be used to coordinate carpooling.
About Fees
Meridian understands that times are difficult. We aim to keep costs as low as possible. In fact, all of our competitive sports' participation fees remained the same this year as they were last year, except for Tennis. Because Meridian does not have our own Tennis facilities, we are subject to our tennis partner's rates, which increased more than 20% since last year. That increase is reflected in this year's Competitive Tennis participation fee. Participation fees are set based on what it costs to cover the expenses of running the sport, including coach stipends, facility fees, league fees, entry fees, uniform and equipment costs, etc. 
 
Financial assistance for participation fees is available for those who need it. Payment plans are available for participation fees for all competitive sports experiences upon request. Discounted participation fees are available for those who request it and qualify. Financial Assistance
 
The $52.30 registration fee is a processing fee that covers Athletics Department overhead. It has been the same fee for several years.
