Gaïane Hochard

Gaïane Hochard joined Meridian in August 2017 as a French teacher for primary students. Gaïane has a Bachelors degree in Computer Sciences from Paris XII University, France and a Masters degree in Computer Sciences from the University of Reunion Island, France. Prior to Meridian, Gaïane taught French for seven years in primary and secondary in Arizona where she got her teaching certification. Hearing about IB through a friend who asked her to become her twin boys' math teacher, she knew IB was the curriculum of choice for her own future children. Gaïane got the opportunity to teach at the DP level for two years before moving to Texas. As soon as she heard about Meridian, she signed up her child and applied for the primary French teacher position. She believes every child will thrive given the appropriate environment. Gaïane has completed Category 1 IB-PYP training.
