Kaylee Torres

Kaylee Torres joined Meridian in May of 2017. She truly loves cooking and creating visually appealing and nutritious menus. Feeding Meridian’s little lions each day brings her such joy.
 
Kaylee has grown the program and recently completed the Texas Department of Agriculture Audit while working at Meridian. Kaylee is part of the Sustainability Committee, SHAC Committee, and assists in mentoring students in the 18+ program; teaching daily kitchen skills and food handling. Her biggest accomplishment is transitioning the nutrition program to procuring almost all of their meal components from Local Farms in the state of Texas.
 
Kaylee has two children at Meridian.
