Labor Day Classic Volleyball Tournament - 2026
What: Meridian's 10th Labor Day Classic Volleyball Tournament
When: Friday, September 4 (Girls Varsity, Boys Varsity, & Girls JV Pool Play)
& Saturday, September 5 (Girls Varsity, Boys Varsity, & Girls JV Bracket Play + Girls Girls MS Pool and Bracket Play)
Where: Round Rock Sports Center (2400 Chisholm Trail Rd, Round Rock, TX 78681)

Team Registration Information
Event Highlights:
- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals (for all divisions reaching at least 8 teams)
- Hospitality room for referees and coaches
- Referees (R1 & R2) for all divisions
- Hosted at the premier Round Rock Sports Center
- All your teams in 1 facility (What a great opportunity to have a school presence!)
Divisions and Teams:
- Girls Middle School A (6th-8th grades) - 8 teams
- Girls Middle School B (6th-8th grades) - 8 teams
- Girls JV - A (9th-12th grades) - 8 teams
- Girls JV - B (9th-12th grades) - 8 teams
- Girls Varsity (9th-12th grades) - 16 teams
- Boys Varsity (8th-12th grades) - 12 teams
Format:
- Pool Play & Bracket Play
- Girls Middle School will play all matches on Saturday.
- Girls Varsity. Boys Varsity, and Girls JV will play pool play on Friday and bracket play on Saturday.
Game Guarantee:
- Girls Middle School = 3 total (all games on Saturday)
- Girls JV = 5 total (Friday and Saturday)
- Boys Varsity = 5 total (Friday and Saturday)
- Girls Varsity = 5 total (Friday and Saturday)
Open to:
- Public charter schools
- Private schools
- 1A, 2A, 3A public schools
- Home school groups
Team Entry Fees:
Team Registration Deadline:
August 14, 2026
Team Cancellation Policies:
- No refunds after August 14, 2026.
- Teams that cancel between August 1 and August 14 will receive partial (50% refund).
- Teams that cancel before August 1 will receive a full refund.
Entry Fee Payment:
Pay when you register with a credit card. If necessary, schools can pay by check by May 31. Contact the Tournament Coordinator, Nicole Krieg, to coordinate payment by check.

Family and Fan Admissions (Students & Adults):
2-day pass = $25
1-day pass = $15
Children under 5 = Free
Cash, Discover, Mastercard, and Visa accepted at the door. (Amex not accepted.)
Participating teams will receive 3 wristbands free with each Team Entry Fee. Team Wristbands should be utilized for coaches, student managers, school administrators, and or athletic directors only.
Note to Meridian Volleyball families: The Meridian Family Volleyball Pass does not apply to tournaments.
Concessions:
- Sold by Round Rock Sports Center.
- No outside food or drink, except participating athletes should have a bottle of water.
- Teams are welcome to set-up a tent outside on the grounds.
Parking:
Free at Round Rock Sports Center
Facility Expectations:
- Teams are welcome to set-up a tent outside clear of any parking and walking areas.
- No outside food or drink allowed
- Spectators should remain upstairs in the viewing areas
- Coaches and Players only are allowed at court level
Warmup Structure and Balls:
We will be providing 1 cart with 15 balls per court for warmup
Warmup will be a 2-4-4 (2 minutes team warmup on designated side of court then 4 minutes for each team (includes 1 minute of serve time).

- 1st, 2nd, 3rd place Medals
- 1st place team trophy
- 1st place teams select 1 MVP Award
- 1st & 2nd place teams select 2 All Tournament Team selections
