2025-2026 After School Band

The Spring Concert is Saturday, May 16. The performance times are as follows:

  • 1 p.m. – Band Concert
  • 3 p.m. – Orchestra Concert

2026-2027 After School Band (7-12)
New for 2026-2027, After School Band will now be open to 7th-12th grade intermediate musicians who play the following instruments:
  • Brass Instruments: horn, French horn, trumpet, trombone, tuba
  • Percussion instruments: timpani, snare drum, bass drum, cymbals, triangle, xylophone, Glockenspiel
  • Instruments not included in the Meridian After School Band: piano, guitar, string instruments, keyboard/digital instruments
 
This is an intermediate-level band. Participants must meet the following minimum requirements:
  • Notation:  All students must know how to read music for their instrument.
  • Additional requirements will be added before registration opens. 
 
Participants will need to provide their own instrument.
 
Registration opens Wednesday, August 12 (first day of school) and will end at  9 p.m. on Thursday, August 20. Late registration will not be available.
