Model UN (6-12)  - Annual Membership Registration ends at 9 p.m. Thursday, September 11!

Model United Nations is the school’s largest club and is open to all students in grades 6-12. In Model UN, we practice diplomacy skills through debate, writing speeches, and building community.  Students have the opportunity to attend conferences throughout the year.  Meridian Model UN

 

For our club meetings throughout the year, middle school meetings will be on Tuesdays at 4:15 p.m. and high school meetings will be on Fridays at 4:15 p.m..  Missed the Parent/Guardian Info Meeting on Monday, September 8? Watch the recording. Passcode: 7VV#m18t

 

The Annual Membership Registration for Model UN ends at 9 p.m. on September 11. This is for all new and returning members, including officers. No late registration will be available. The registration/membership fee is nonrefundable. Check your registration status.

 

Speech & Debate Club (9-12) - Annual Membership Registration opens September 17!

Meridian Speech & Debate Club is a competitive organization for Meridian high school students (9-12). Students meet weekly to work on their skills such as research, public speaking, critical thinking, and argumentation. Additionally, students can choose to participate in local tournaments, with the possibility of earning advancement to the State Tournament and maybe even the National Tournament!

Deadline Approaching for 2025-2026 Clubs

The deadline to submit a club approval form is September 10, 2025, at noon. Forms submitted after this deadline will be considered for the following school year.

Student Volunteer Hours
This form is for student volunteers (grades 6-12) only.  Please log any hours that you have volunteered this school year with Meridian on this form.  This includes CAS hours or otherwise.  Please submit the form once for each session of volunteering.

No Pass No Play/Academic Eligibility

Under state law, students must be academically eligible to compete and perform with their extracurricular activity. This applies to all extracurricular activities with competitions and performances such as Theatre, Band, Orchestra, Model UN, DECA, Robotics Club, etc.
