Hello Lions,
My name is Nicole Alvarado (previously Garza), and this is my second year at Meridian. I am very excited to be returning as one of the primary school counselors. I am a graduate from Liberty University where I earned my Master's of Education in School Counseling, I am currently at Liberty working towards my doctorate. For the seven years prior to becoming a counselor I worked as an elementary and secondary teacher. While in the classroom I learned that students need a safe and nurturing environment to thrive in which lead me to counseling.
