We are so happy you are visiting our Volunteer Opportunities page. This means you're looking for ways to become a part of our school's community! Everyone has different schedules and circumstances, so we offer something for everyone!

Summer Chicken Coop Care

 

Love chickens? Help care for our Meridian chickens this summer! You can help feed, water, and collect eggs. It's a great family activity! The program is supported by Friends of Meridian and Coyote Creek Organic Feed Mill & Farm. Help with the Coop!

Ongoing Opportunities

Morning Carline
 
We are looking for helpful and friendly volunteers during morning carline. Providing drivers and walkers with reminders of the rules and opening the doors for our younger students is an important job. No sign up is needed. Just show up as close to the start of carline as you can and try to stay until at least 8 a.m. This is a great before-work volunteer opportunity! This also helps relieve our teachers and staff to allow them time to be inside to prepare for their students. 
 
Athletics
 
Want to help at a Meridian sporting event. Athletics is always looking for interested parents to help with concessions, scoring, game admissions, clock managers and more! Check with athletics for opportunities.
 
Meridian Chicken Care
 
Did you know that we have chickens on campus? Our primary students love seeing them out in their yard during recess and they offer a valuable care opportunity for some of our secondary students. We have an amazing group of parent volunteers who have formed a Chicken Committee. This committee oversees chicken care. If you are interested, reach out to Friends of Meridian.
