Tryouts

Tryouts are closed to parents and spectators. 

 

Flag Football Candidates Must:

  • Register for 2024 Competitive Flag Football
  • Be physically eligible (have a valid physical form on file. Learn more).
  • Be financially eligible (not have any past due invoices with the school).
  • Attend Tryouts

 

Tryout Day/Time/Place

Friday, August 9

5:00 p.m.  -  7:00 p.m

Rock Field  (enter from 217 Commerce Blvd., Round Rock, TX)

 

Tryout Attire

  • Cleats. These are a must due to safety and activity of the workout evolutions.
  • Shorts with NO pockets. We do not want to rip clothing and or cause injury to students when pulling flags.
  • Water Bottles: Hydration is a must!
  • Shirts must be fitted and tucked in.
  • Students can have football gloves (Not Mandatory)
  • No jewelry can be worn except stud earrings. 
  • Please dress for the temperature.

Tryout Results

Student athletes should remember their tryout numbers. Tryout results will be published here by tryout number by 9:30 p.m. on Friday, August 9.


Student athletes whose tryout number is not included have been cut. 


Students who tryout and are not offered a spot on the team will receive a refund for their registration fee.

 

Number of Participants/Team

If a minimum number of qualified student athletes are not available to form a team, that team will not form. Coaches are not required to fill their teams with a maximum number of participants.
