Practice schedule updated 05/09/24

 


Location

Rock Field (enter from 217 Commerce Blvd., Round Rock, TX)

All practices will be at Rock Field unless otherwise communicated by the coach.

 

Schedule

Coed Middle School - Both teams will share practice time.

Tuesdays: 6:00 p.m.  -  7:30 p.m.

Wednesdays: 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

First practice = Wednesday, 8/14/24

 

 

Attire

  • Cleats. These are a must due to safety and activity of the workout evolutions.
  • Shorts with NO pockets. We do not want to rip clothing and or cause injury to students when pulling flags.
  • Water Bottles: Hydration is a must!
  • Shirts must be fitted and tucked in.
  • Students can have football gloves (Not Mandatory)
  • No jewelry can be worn except stud earrings. 
  • Please dress for the temperature.

 

 

Weather/Temperature Policy

The Weather Watch chart indicates that a heat index of 106 degrees is in the red (danger). Based on this, our policy is:

  • Below 106 degrees: Practice with implementation of frequent breaks and hydration.
  • Above 106 degrees: No practice
 
Weather

First practice financial eligibility - Must be financially eligible to begin practicing. This means the participation fee must be paid (or the first 50% must be paid if on a payment plan) before the student can start practicing.
