Fees

Each sports experience has two fees:

  1. Registration Fee 
  2. Participation Fee

The fees for 2024 Flag Football are as follows:


  1. $52.30 Registration Fee ($50 registration + 4.6% MySchoolBucks user fee) IF registering by 9 p.m. on May 8. If registering during the Late Registration window, the registration fee will be $104.60 ($100 late registration + 4.6% MySchoolBucks user fee). The registration fee is a processing fee and is only refundable if the minimum number of students do not register and this sports offering is canceled or if the student tries out and is not offered a spot on any team. If the student changes their mind, does not want to participate on the team they are offered, does not establish or maintain eligibility (including due to injury), or leaves Meridian, the registration fee remains non-refundable and non-transferrable. 
  • Please note that Registration fees cannot be paid by check and must be paid via MySchoolBucks.
  1.  + Participation Fee:
  • Participation fees are set by team level, which reflects the sports experience including the amount of practice time offered.
    • Coed Middle School = $400* 
    • Participation fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable. The entire participation fee is due in full even if a student becomes injured or ill, leaves or is removed from the team, or withdraws from the school.
  • *Add 4.6% MySchoolBucks user fee if paying participation fees via MySchoolBucks. Or participation fees can be paid by check. (The  registration fee cannot be paid by check.) Please make checks for participation fees payable to "Meridian School" and include the student's full name and "Flag Football" on the memo line. Please seal the check in an envelope and write "Coach Ashlie '' on the outside. Then please deposit the check in the blue drop box outside the Athletics Office.  DO NOT DROP OFF CHECKS TO A SCHOOL OFFICE.
  • Financial assistance is available to those who need it. Please see Financial Assistance.
    • 8/13 - 1st payment of 50% due by noon
    • 10/1 = 2nd payment of 50% due
    • A payment plan is available to anyone who needs it. If you would like a payment plan, please request it on your registration form.

 

Included in the 2024 Flag Football Participation Fee

Participation fees include the opportunity to practice with the team. Participation fees do not guarantee playing time. 

 

In our inaugural season of Flag Football, the participants will get to keep their Meridian Flag Football home and away T-shirt jerseys. These will also be approved spirit wear. Additionally, each participant will receive a long sleeved, dri-fit Meridian Flag Football spirit wear shirt that can be worn as a warm-up. This is also for the student to keep.

 

Minimum Participates

Each team requires a minimum of 14 qualified student athletes to form.
